Founding member of the Magic-Image group, Saúl Kaminer is an artist whose work invites us to observe the realities of our environment more carefully. Referring to the fundamental natural elements of air, fire, water, earth, and above all the beings within them, Saúl Kaminer is infused with his Mexican origins and various mythologies, revised according to his own vision, far from formalism. Between abstraction and representation, he plays with shapes and shadows, carried or carried over, real or fictional.Heir to the European and American avant-gardes, he is inspired, among other things, by pre-Hispanic culture. We find in his work a musical rhythm that finds its balance in playful compositions, revealing the influence of his work as an architect. A multidisciplinary artist, he also pursues his research through sculpture. He has been a member of Lewinson Art since 2013.
